Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a level 3 NVQ qualification in Beauty therapy and will have experience in delivering a range of beauty treatments.

The individual will be enthusiastic and client-focused. Passionate and knowledgeable about the beauty industry, reliable, flexible and highly motivated. With a commitment to continuous learning and a high standard of professionalism.

Requirements

NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy Previous salon experience is desirable Skilled in a variety of beauty treatments with strong attention to detail Mii and Guinot trained is an advantage but not essential Confident in upselling treatments and retail products Flexibility to work Saturdays if required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Enjoys working in a team

Key responsibilities:

Provide a wide range of beauty treatments including: facials, massage, waxing, tinting, manicures and pedicures. Deliver advanced level 3 treatments such as electrical facials (further Guinot training will be provided if needed). Conduct thorough consultations with clients Recommend suitable homecare products and skincare routines Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of treatment rooms and communal salon areas Build strong, trusting relationships with our valued clients and encourage repeat business Actively promote the salon, presenting a positive image of the salon and its activities both within and outside the salon environment. Ensure the quality standards and performance measures applying to the work of salon are met and facilitate continuous improvement in all aspects of the role Undergo any self-development and training as necessary for success in the role Carry out any duties at all times in accordance with the salon's policies
