We are looking for a Part-Time Beauty Receptionist to join our extremely busy Beauty Salon in West Mersea. This role will be approximately 21 hours per week, please note the days are already set and can be seen below, please only apply if you are able to work these days of the week and hours.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would be joining a phenomenal team in an award winning Salon. To excel in this role you must be an expert in Customer Service, you must have a sharp eye for detail with ability to work to high standards at all times.
Although this is a reception role the ideal candidate would have some kind of beauty therapy or skin care knowledge, or be an extremely fast learner. Please note this isn't your average reception role of sitting behind a desk and answering the phone, this role also includes setting up and clearing down treatment rooms when the therapists are busy this has so many other roles too, social media, marketing, retail, emails, cleaning, making clients feel comfortable & lots of chatting with our clients. Our ideal candidate needs to be smiley and chatty and enjoy the company of others.
Administrative Duties:
Greeting and welcoming visitors
Answering phone calls
Answering emails
Scheduling appointments
Taking payments
Carrying out requests from management as needed
Maintaining stock
Dealing with client requests
Setting up treatment rooms and clearing down treatment rooms
General cleaning of the salon
Washing towels and beauty accessories
Making clients drinks
What are we looking for in our applicants?
Someone who offers 5 customer experience to every client
The ability to use your own initiative
Must be extremely approachable and be able to engage with the beauty team and clients
Must be confident
Must be able to manage the diary ensuring that you are maximising revenue potential at all times
Must have an excellent phone manor
Must be able to multi task
Must be confident, chatty and smiley
Desirable Attributes:
Skincare experience
Beauty Therapy experience
Salon or clinic experience
Experience in Booking systems, Point of Sale, Word and excel
A passion for writing blogs
Confident using all types of social media

The set hours are as follows (two weekly alternate roster)
Week one
Tuesday 8:45- 5:30pm
Thursday 8:45- 5:30 pm
Week two
Tuesday 8:45- 5:30pm
Thursday 8:45- 5:30 pm
Saturday 8:45- 5:30 pm
The pay for this role starts at 12.50 per hour.
