Event Equipment Hire Limited (EEH) is the UK's leading supplier of mobile event equipment to various outdoor events across the country. We operate a fleet of grandstands, stages and mobile LED screens.

We are a small owner managed business, with an experienced and dedicated team, working together to provide an exceptional service to our customers. The fact that many of our customers come back to us year after year is a testament to our team and our fleet.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team of skilled drivers and operators to deliver and install our units to our customers events throughout the UK.

What you will be responsible for:

Driving the equipment (trailer based) to our customer locations throughout the UK. Communicating arrival times and schedules with customers. Installing and erecting the equipment (which is fixed to the trailer) (Full training will be provided). Managing your own route planning and timescales to ensure the equipment is delivered to the event on time. Completing delivery paperwork. Daily vehicle maintenance checks/defect reporting. Cleaning of the equipment.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

A desire to work in the events industry (it is more of a lifestyle than a job to those who know it). Minimum B+E Entitlement. Preference given to those holding C+E or C1+E Some experience of towing and maneuvering trailers. Physically fit and able to erect the equipment on their own at a good pace. Good time management - Someone who can work to tight deadlines. Ability to plan own routes. Have a fantastic attendance record. Pull together with other team members to get the job done. Take pride in their work. Keep their assigned vehicle clean. Have a professional, helpful and friendly attitude.
Due to the nature of our client base, this role is busiest throughout the summer months (May to October). You will be required to work varying shifts - including anti-social hours, weekends and nights away. During our summer season significant holiday requests are not permitted. In our low season, our events schedule reduces and our drivers and operators support our winter maintenance programme which is carried out at our premises in Drighlington (Leeds). The Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge and be comfortable using power tools such as drills and angle grinders.

Positions range from B+E drivers to C+E and pay scales reflect the professional ability of the individual.

Pay: 27,500.00-40,000.00 per year
