We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Club Assistant to join our team!
If you have a passion for early childhood development and experience working with children in a play or educational setting, this is the role for you. As a Club Assistant, you will support overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Breakfast and After-School Club, delivering engaging and safe activities while leading a supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Management
: Organise and deliver fun, educational activities for children aged 4-11 years, promoting their development and well-being.
Staff Leadership
: Lead, support, and inspire a team of Playworkers. Ensure staff rotas and attendance are managed efficiently.
Logistics and Administration
: Oversee daily operational tasks, including child registers, school pick-ups/collections, and paperwork.
Health and Safety
: Ensure a safe environment, maintaining hygiene standards, conducting safety checks, and following safeguarding guidelines.
Parent and Team Communication
: Respond to parent queries, send regular updates, and collaborate with staff to ensure effective communication.
Club Development
: Assess the club's performance, provide feedback to management, and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
(or equivalent) or a related qualification.
First Aid Qualification
(or willingness to obtain one).
Enhanced DBS check
required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 27.5 per week
