Sunbury, TW16 5ED

Contract:

Term time only - 39 weeks per year

Hours:

Split shift, Monday to Friday (7:30am-9:00am & 2:45pm-6:00pm)

Pay:

14.54-15.52 per hour (includes 12.07% holiday pay)
(Base rate 12.97-13.85 per hour, plus holiday pay on top for full transparency)

The Role

As a

Wrap Around Care Setting Manager

, you will lead the delivery of our childcare provision, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Your role is essential in supporting their wellbeing, development, and enjoyment, while also leading and inspiring a team to deliver excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a safe, welcoming environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to join in. Plan and deliver a variety of fun, creative, and active sessions that support physical, social, and emotional development. Apply Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles to enrich children's experiences. Manage, support, and motivate your team, including regular huddles, 1:1s, and feedback sessions. Act as the

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

for your setting, ensuring safeguarding and child protection procedures are upheld at all times. Maintain compliance with Premier Education Professional Standards (PEPs), health & safety, and company policies. Build strong relationships with parents, schools, and children, ensuring positive communication and trust.

What We're Looking For

Experience in childcare, playwork, or education settings (essential). Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements (DSL training desirable). Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Warm, enthusiastic, and professional approach with children and families. A commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and fun experiences for every child. Relevant childcare or playwork qualification (desirable).
