Job Title: Before and After School Club Play Worker

Responsible for ensuring team members are supported and parents are informed.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Planning and Development:

Implement a diverse range of activities and programmes that cater to the interests and needs of children.

Ensure that all activities are age-appropriate, educational, and aligned with policies and goals.

Hours:

Monday - Friday Term Time 22.5 hours per week term time

7.15am - 8.45am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm

All days and hours must be attended

Venue for role WR2 4EN

Safety and Compliance:

Support the coordinator in all activities in a safe environment and in compliance with regulations.

Support the coordinator in maintaining accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other required documentation.

Communication and Collaboration:

Support the coordinator as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on programme activities.

Marketing and Outreach:

Promote before and after school programmes to increase enrolment and participation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Child Development

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a role within educational or recreational programmes.

Demonstrated experience in working with primary aged children.

Skills:

Behaviour management and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.

Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards for childcare programmes.

Hold a valid driver licence and have your own car.

Certifications:

First Aid certification.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
