Support students in developing resilience, discipline, and social/emotional skills that will help them succeed both in and out of school.

Work with families and colleagues to tackle barriers to attendance and engagement.

Deliver one-to-one or small group sessions to address behaviour, motivation, and personal development.

Monitor student progress and contribute to behaviour and attendance plans.

Build professional relationships with students who may be hard to reach, showing patience, consistency, and reliability.

Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies to ensure joined-up support.

Undertake training to Level 3 in Safeguarding and support the Head of School with the management of day-to-day safeguarding concerns.

Liaise with external agencies, notably Early Help, to ensure coordinated support for pupils and families.

Contribute to the wider school ethos, promoting respect, teamwork, and progression.

A resilient, proactive, and reliable approach--able to motivate students who may be reluctant to engage.

Organised and able to maintain accurate records of interventions and progress.

A commitment to EdStart's values of Progression, Humanity, Togetherness, and Compassion, with a strong focus on safeguarding and inclusive education.
