Philosophy Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Barnet to recruit a skilled and resilient

Behaviour Mentor

to support pupils with

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

. This is an urgent vacancy requiring someone ready to start immediately.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Provide tailored one-to-one and group support for pupils with challenging behaviour. Help pupils develop strategies to manage emotions, build resilience and re-engage with learning. Work closely with teaching staff and senior leaders to implement effective behaviour management plans. Use restorative and therapeutic approaches to support pupil wellbeing and progress.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, or in a PRU/SEMH setting. Brings resilience, patience and strong behaviour management skills. Can build positive relationships and act as a role model for pupils. Is available for an

immediate start

.
