About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting a committed Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive Secondary School school close to Halifax. This full-time role starts immediately and involves working closely with pupils across KS3/4 who require additional behavioural support. The school promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with behavioural challenges in both classroom and 1:1 settings. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams. Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing school environment.

Pre-requisites:

Experience supporting children with behavioural needs. Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply. Two education-based references. Must be within reasonable travel distance of Halifax.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 90.00-100.00 per day
