A specialist SEMH school in

is seeking a
Behaviour Support Mentor
to join their dedicated team. You'll work with students aged
11-17
in small classes, providing tailored support to help them regulate emotions, engage in learning, and build positive relationships.
About the Role:
Support students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
Build strong, trusting relationships to encourage positive behaviour
Help de-escalate challenging situations calmly and constructively
Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour plans
Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience through consistent, compassionate support
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
A calm, confident and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build rapport and maintain boundaries
A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
