We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioural Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals facing behavioural challenges, providing support and therapeutic interventions to promote positive behavioural changes. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioural therapy techniques and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify clients' behavioural needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address behavioural issues.
Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with confidentiality guidelines.
Provide training and guidance to family members on behaviour management strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Experience
A degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; further qualifications in Behavioural Therapy are advantageous.
Previous experience working with individuals with behavioural challenges is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
