Job Description

Techbelt is a specialist manufacturer of high-quality conveyor belts and materials for demanding industrial applications, including food processing and manufacturing. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Belt Fabricator to join our in-house production team at our Elland facility.


This is a practical, workshop-based role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, following specifications, and producing consistent, high-quality work.


What You'll Be Doing


Cutting, fabricating, sealing, and assembling conveyor belt materials (PU, PVC, PTFE)
Measuring and working accurately from drawings and specifications
Using cutting tools, sealing equipment, and welding machinery (training provided)
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Packaging finished belts and preparing them for shipment
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

What We're Looking For


Experience in manufacturing or fabrication (plastics, fabrics, or similar preferred)
Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work and standing for long periods
Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions
Sewing machine experience is an advantage but not essential
Driving licence preferred but not essential

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional overtime)
