Overview

We are currently looking for a reliable and skilled

Semi Skilled Labourer (Bench Hand)

to join our factory team in the production of supplying internal door sets to the Scottish Housing Market. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic and a practical background in woodworking and joinery.

The role involves manufacturing timber door facings and framing ensuring accurately when measuring, cutting, and assembling the timber to specification.

This position requires someone who is organised and comfortable working in a structured factory environment with set processes. The role relies on someone with strong timekeeping standards and reliability. It is important that you can maintain a clean and safe work area and you are familiar with working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Cutting, machining and preparing timber for door facings and frames General bench joinery and woodworking tasks Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workstation Can safely operate woodworking machinery (Saws, planers, drills, nail guns etc)

Ideal Candidate

Experience in bench joinery or woodworking Confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools Good attention to detail Reliable and comfortable working to fixed hours Team player with a positive attitude

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday:

7:30am - 4:00pm

Friday:

7:30am - 2:45pm

Breaks / lunch periods at

10:00am,

12:30pm

and

3:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
