Job Description

Masterpiece Construction is expanding our joinery capability and looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to produce high-quality cabinetry and fitted furniture from our Whitchurch workshop.

The Workshop

We're establishing a dedicated joinery workshop near Dolphin Park, Whitchurch (BS14) to supply bespoke cabinetry, kitchens, and fitted furniture for premium residential refurbishment projects across London and Surrey.

What You'll Do

Manufacture cabinet carcasses, doors, and drawer boxes to specification Operate workshop machinery including edgebanders, hinge borers, panel saws, and router tables Maintain machinery to optimal performance Read and work from cutting lists and technical drawings Maintain consistently high standards of finish and accuracy Contribute to efficient batch production for multiple concurrent projects Occasional site attendance to support installations

What You'll Bring

5+ years bench joinery or cabinet making experience H&S knowledge and training in joinery machinery operation Ability to work accurately from drawings and cutting lists Familiarity with modern cabinet hardware (Blum or similar) Organised, reliable, and quality-focused Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship References from workshop or furniture production roles

Nice to Have

Experience with sash windows and stairs Experience with cabinet design software (Polyboard etc.) Spray finishing experience CNC operation experience Experience in 3D printing
