Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused

Bench Joiner

to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, crafting, and finishing doors, door frames, internal and external screens and a range of timber joinery products, ensuring every item meets our high standards of accuracy and quality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Manufacture and assemble doors, frames, screens, and bespoke joinery components Work from technical drawings, cutting lists, and job specifications Operate workshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and accurately Carry out detailed finishing work, sanding, and preparation for spray/assembly Ensure all products meet quality and dimensional requirements Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe work area Collaborate with the workshop team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar workshop-based role Strong understanding of joinery methods and woodworking techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Competent with hand tools, power tools, and general workshop machinery High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Desirable:

Experience manufacturing fire-rated or commercial joinery products Knowledge of CNC-machined timber components NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery
