The Role

We're looking for a skilled and self-sufficient

Bench Joiner

to join our Manufacturing Team. This role involves producing both standard and bespoke timber play equipment, taking each product from drawings through to completion. You'll be expected to work with accuracy, efficiency, and initiative, delivering high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

Interpreting technical drawings and working to exact specifications. Cutting, preparing, and assembling timber components. Operating power and hand tools safely and confidently. Producing consistent, high-quality joinery within set timeframes. Upholding health & safety standards in a busy workshop environment.

About You

We're looking for someone with proven experience who can be trusted to get the job done in time in full:

Strong joinery background

(bench joinery, furniture, or playground equipment experience an advantage). Demonstrable ability to work from technical drawings independently. Skilled in accurate measuring, cutting, and assembly. High attention to detail with pride in delivering excellent craftsmanship. Able to work effectively in a production environment. Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving approach. Moderate computer skills for material issuing and time entry.

Pay: Up to 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
