Client
Our client is a specialist bespoke joinery manufacturer delivery quality projects in the hospitality and residential sectors
They have a great opportunity for a Bench Joiner to join them on a permanent basis.
The Ideal Person:
Have prior experience in a joinery setting (ideally within manufacturing)
Have the ability to work comfortably from manufacture drawings
Responsibilities:
Perform high end joinery tasks paying particular attention to detail.
Demonstrate a high level of bench joinery craft using multiple materials.
Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use and care of key task tools and equipment to achieve an all-round superior quality standard.
Demonstrate key technical knowledge in reading, understanding and working from manufacturing drawings.
Demonstrate an ability to use your own initiative and contribute towards continuous improvement techniques.
Take instruction from the production manager and carry out the task in a professional and efficient manner.
Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working order.
Work within the internal quality system ensuring that a high standard of production is maintained through to finished product stage.
Operate to health and safety policy and guidelines.
Maintain good housekeeping and a safe work environment.
