About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Bench Joiner

to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery items, working from technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring excellent craftsmanship throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke joinery items including doors, windows and staircases Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists Use hand tools and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently Assemble, sand, and finish joinery components to a high standard Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role Strong knowledge of timber types, joinery techniques, and materials Ability to read and work from detailed drawings High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Good time management and problem-solving skills Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery or equivalent) preferred

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
