Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings to produce custom, high quality products Cut, shape and finish timber components to specifications Ensure all assembled items meet high standards, including sanding and finishing work for painting or varnishing Perform heavy lifting of materials safely to support construction activities Conduct construction painting where required to prepare surfaces for finishing Support plumbing, masonry, and electrical teams as needed on-site Maintain a clean and organised workspace to adhere to health and safety regulations Demonstrate a good understanding of joinery materials including past experience working with laminates, veneers and solids

Requirements

Proven experience in assembly, carpentry, and joinery work Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work Good understanding of health and safety procedures within production environments Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are advantageous Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
