Bench Joiner - Bespoke Manufacturing (Workshop Based)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery products, working from technical drawings to produce high-quality finished items. Our projects span events, retail and exhibition environments, offering varied and interesting work.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke joinery products such as bars, counters, buffets, cabinetry and furniture. Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and specifications. Safely and accurately operate woodworking machinery and hand tools. Assemble components to a high standard of finish. Work with solid timber, sheet materials and specialist veneers. Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace. Work with the workshop team and management to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bench Joiner or similar is essential. Strong woodworking skills and excellent attention to detail. Confident working from technical drawings. Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools. Good understanding of workplace health and safety. Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Joinery or carpentry qualifications. Experience with bespoke or high-end joinery. Knowledge of CNC machinery or spray finishing.

Pay: 15.50-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
