Job Description
Since the early 1990's London House has been developing properties in and around London. Our comprehensive design & build package offers a complete range of architectural and interior design services. Working alongside this, we also run a specialised joinery and cabinetry workshop for all the bespoke joinery requirements that may be requested on a project.
We are looking for skilled joiners to join our team, working out of our specialised workshop in South West London. We are particularly interested in candidates who are skilled in the fabrication of box sash windows, and doors. The joinery workshop services our well-established building & construction projects division, - London House Projects - which undertakes residential refurbishment & construction projects with a particular emphasis on high-end residential refurbishment work.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality products, ensuring that each project meets our exacting standards. This role requires proficiency and experience in various joinery techniques and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble box sash and casement windows, doors, cabinets and fitted furniture according to specifications and design plans. Utilise hand tools, power tools and wood working machinery effectively to produce required profiles. Particular experience of setting out, and using spindle moulders, tenoners and morticers. Perform joinery tasks, ensuring precision in cuts, fittings, assembly and finish. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Load/unload materials as required during the fabrication process.
Experience
Proven experience in joinery is essential, especially box sash windows, casement windows, and doors. Strong understanding of how to construct windows, doors, wardrobes and other cabinets. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
