Job Description

Derwen Joinery Ltd are based in Wrexham and we are looking for a Bench Joiner/ Wood Machinist to join our team within our purpose built joinery workshop.

Requirements of our Bench Joiner/ Wood Machinist.



NVQ Level 2 in Bench Joinery or Wood machinery

Minimum 3 Years experience in a workshop environment

Full UK drivers license

Experience and knowledge of typical woodworking machinery.

Responsibilities of our Bench Joiner/ Wood Machinist.



Punctual

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to works as part of a team as well as taking own initiative when working independently

Safe use of typical woodworking machinery (cross cut, rip saw, planers, spindles and tenoners etc.)

Ability to to assemble, finish and glaze joinery products to a high standard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-22.00 per hour

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Joinery Workshop: 3 years (preferred)
Language:

English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

UK Drivers License (preferred)
Work Location: In person
