H&M Craftsmen is a friendly family-run business that has over 38 years' experience in manufacturing high quality kitchens, bedrooms and office furniture. We have a new and exciting opportunity to join us, in the village of Ingleton in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We pride ourselves on our high-quality bespoke furniture and strive to meet and exceed our client needs.

We are looking for an additional full time,

bench joiner/cabinet maker

to join our team manufacturing furniture, in our well-equipped workshop. We are a small company so the job will always be varied.

This role will have great opportunity to grow, as we seek someone who is highly driven, self motivated and hardworking.

The Role will include :

Manufacture of kitchen carcases using cnc and edge-bander Understand and read production drawings Spray painting - (training will be given if no experience) General workshop duties - taking delivers, arranging store room, tidying, emptying extractor sawdust bags. Timber work such are machining wood, making frames & doors, making worktops, bespoke pieces - Existing relevant timber skills would be advantageous but training can be given. Fork lift truck licence would be advantageous but not necessary

We would like from you:

positive approach and good problem-solving skills ability to work alone as well as part of a team hardworking, and self motivated and able to meet deadlines have a good eye for detail at least two years relevant/transferable experience would be desired current clean driving licence
Working Hours are 7:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday with the option of 1/2 hr or 1 hour unpaid lunch break (42.5 - 45hrs per week)

Pay range will be dependant on existing skills & experience.
