Cornish Cabinet & Joinery Co are a high end fitted furniture manufacturer looking to expand our team. We specialise in bespoke projects covering every room of the house. The majority of our products are in a painted, veneer, or solid wood finish. Our customers are discerning and come to us for a premium quality product, produced in Cornwall, and the standard of our work is high.

We are now looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our workshop team in Par.

About the Role

You will be responsible for producing high-quality components and cabinetry across a range of bespoke projects. Our work spans painted, veneered and solid timber furniture, so a strong understanding of material handling and precise joinery is essential.

This role offers the opportunity to work on premium, design-led projects within a skilled and supportive workshop team, where attention to detail and craftsmanship are genuinely valued.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience and confidence working across both solid wood and panel processing.

Training will be provided on our specific machinery and workshop processes, but a solid foundation in the following areas is essential.

? Table saw operation

? Planer / thicknesser

? Timber grading and selection

? Spindle moulder operation

? Shaker door construction

? In-frame door construction

? Cabinet assembly

Desirable (Not Essential) Skills

These additional skills are advantageous but not required.

? CNC operation

? Edgebanding

? Resaw

? Wood turning

? CAD drawing

Contract

This position is offered on a self-employed basis, with both part-time and full-time work available depending on experience and availability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 12.85-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
