We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for making, and assembling high-quality joinery and cabinetry for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to produce customised cabinetry.
Fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment with attention to detail.
Assemble cabinet parts accurately, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Operate joinery techniques to create durable joints and seamless finishes.
Measure and cut materials such as wood, MDF, and plywood with precision.
Install cabinets on-site, ensuring secure fitting and alignment.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project manager to ensure specifications are met within deadlines.
Skills
Proven experience in joinery, assembly, and carpentry.
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills, and clamps.
Skilled in using power tools including routers, sanders, and drills safely and effectively.
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques for durable construction.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling of materials.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to woodworking and construction environments.
Additional experience in roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry or electrical work is advantageous but not essential.
