Job Description
Bench joinery pay structure - Our base rate for bench joiners is 16.00 per hour however we offer very generous overtime rates at time and a half so all hours worked over our basic 39 contracted hours are paid at 24.00 per hour. Double time on Sundays 32.00 per hour.
A average production week with overtime would be around 48 hours, this would make the average hourly rate 17.50 per hour.
A busy production week with overtime would be around 57 hours, this would make the average hourly rate 19.00 per hour.
We will be very busy for the considerable future. We also have a new CNC coming so CNC experience would be a bonus.
Time served bench hand joiners needed for busy family shopfitting / fit out company based on the Wirral. We are seeking experienced, quality considerate bench hand joiners to work with our current team manufacturing fixtures and fittings for our retail clients. You will be able to work from drawings and rods and be competent in working with wood products, basic machining, assembly, laminating, carcassing and the ability to work from inception to completion. 39hrs per week basic with time and half overtime, double time Sundays. Good rates of pay and 20 days holidays plus bank holidays. Modern, clean and warm workshop.
