Job Description

Leda Group are working with a respected and long-established construction company based in Oxford, specialising in the

restoration, conservation and enhancement of historic and listed buildings

throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

We are currently looking for a skilled

Bench Joiner

to join their workshop team, supporting a variety of bespoke joinery projects including

windows, doors, staircases, cabinetry and architectural features

for high-end residential, ecclesiastical, and heritage properties.

Key Responsibilities

:

Manufacture high-quality joinery items from detailed drawings and specifications Use traditional joinery techniques alongside modern equipment Work with a variety of timbers to produce bespoke, made-to-measure pieces Ensure work meets conservation standards for listed and period properties Liaise with site teams and project managers when needed Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

About You

:

Proven experience as a

bench joiner

in a high-quality or heritage setting Strong technical skills and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Understanding of heritage/conservation principles is desirable Self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in your craft Relevant trade qualifications or time-served experience
