We're currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join us as Whisky Bartender at Bertie's Whisky Bar, one of Scotland's most iconic whisky destinations.

Bertie's is a luxurious homage to Scotland's national spirit, home to over 400 whiskies curated by flavour profile. Our expert team takes pride in guiding guests through this exceptional collection, creating memorable experiences rooted in craftsmanship, heritage, and storytelling.

The Role: Whisky Bartender

As a Whisky Bartender, you'll be a key member of the team delivering a world-class experience to every guest. Working closely with the Bar Manager, you'll play an active role in maintaining and evolving our whisky programme while sharing your passion with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Bar Manager with the day-to-day running of Bertie's Whisky Bar Conduct tastings and offer expert guidance on our whisky collection Collaborate with whisky advisors, distilleries, and suppliers to curate a diverse and engaging whisky menu Drive sales through informed and enthusiastic recommendations Maintain the highest standards of service in line with our 5-star environment

About You:

Previous experience as a bartender, ideally in a luxury or 5-star hospitality setting Strong knowledge (or curiosity) around whisky styles, regions, and production Natural communicator with a passion for guest service Team player with initiative, emotional intelligence, and a drive to learn Ambitious and committed to delivering exceptional, personalised experiences
