Specialized expertise includes: T&E policy, sourcing and supplier management, change management and compliance management, business intelligence, on-going travel category management, payment and expense reimbursement management, and related business process outsourcing (BPO) best practices.

The BI Analyst will be an integral part of the Data Analytics team dedicated to a large global banking customer focused on supporting the client directly. The BI Analyst must have the ability to interpret data, perform complex data analysis and create insightful recommendations for client facing presentations. This position works primarily within the clients data lake, and will report into a Global BI Manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Work with client and stakeholders across GBT to understand complex business needs, data requirements and then translate requirements into effective reporting, visualization and actionable insights
• Compile various data sources with large amounts of data and have the ability to link data together to create reports/solutions under direction of the client
• Run reports, correct file errors, normalize data, create scenario-based models etc. in an accurate and timely fashion
• Present complex information and data in an uncomplicated, easy-to-understand way - "break it down" to suit the audience
• Effectively support multi-work stream engagements, prioritize client requests and work objectives leveraging appropriate project management methodologies and tools such as project plans and issue logs
• Effectively manage issues and risks that arise during the lifecycle of the project/engagement

Desired Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

• Need go-getters who are energetic, curious and creative
• 2+ years of work experience required with 2+ years of business travel or consulting organization
• Work experience or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree where work could include (either): statistics, travel, business administration, finance, decision sciences, economics, and mathematics.
• Should demonstrate strong Tableau proficiency, sample of work will need to be produced
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access
• Proficiency in SQL programming language
• Should have good analytical and project management skills with innovative mindset and ability to think conceptually
• Strong interpersonal skills, listening ability and written presentation skills
• Highly client-focused with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and focus on quality
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and present/discuss work results in a compelling manner
• Team player, Flexibility/ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent time management skills required \xe2\x80\x93 including ability to set priorities and work in a fast paced, multi-project environment
