Position

The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and SME\'s, RFC owners and technical colleagues the BI Developer designs, codes, configures and or customises the Company data warehouse, reporting, and visualisation to meet business requirements using an Agile approach.

Requirements

  • Track record of commercial BI solutions development
  • Advanced knowledge and commercial experience of MS SQL Server & SSIS Workflow management
  • Deployment & maintenance skills in both reporting tools \xe2\x80\x9cSSRS\xe2\x80\x9d & data visualisation tools (ideally Qlik)
  • Demonstrable ability to write and optimize T-SQL statements
  • Practical experience of database design for BI, index management, table optimisation including (partitioning, compression, filegroups etc)
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience working through the full software development lifecycle, from design through to implementation
  • Experience of collaborating with other technical colleagues in an Agile environment to deliver new applications and systems improvements
  • Experience of working with Agile, iterative and Waterfall delivery approaches.
