We are recruiting for Business Intelligence Developer to join our continually growing Governance, Risk & AssuranceService area. Our brand-new offices are based at the i9 building in Wolverhampton and is an excellent location for transport links by car, bus, train and tram.

What the day will look like




responsibilities include:

Drive business improvement through the central collation and monitoring of feedback received on all areas of the Fund's business, ensuring any solutions are robust and scalable Lead on development of data sets and information in the creation of single point of truth performance reporting, undertaking research and using best practice to support the changing information needs of customers, reporting as required Lead on internal engagement across the Fund's service areas in relation to data management and business information Identify, propose and recommend changes to working practices, concepts or procedures to improve the quality of information delivery which impacts beyond own area on other disciplines or parts of the service Collaboratively lead on the funds overall business intelligence strategy, making decisions on software utilised, data extractions and how to utilise the data across the fund to improve performance and inform decision making.

About you




The ideal candidate will have experience in business intelligence, data analytics with the ability to establish and continue good working relationships. They will possess technical expertise in data extraction and reporting tools, and the ability to drive data initiatives that enhance decision-making across the Fund.

Our working arrangements




All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style. Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed workstyle work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field workstyle are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for 'touch down' space at any council location. Roles with a flexible workstyle have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
