About the company:

We are a fast growing business tackling bicycle theft. We use GPS trackers installed on bikes to enable recovery if they are stolen. We have an ~85% recovery rate. All the recoveries we have performed have avoided serious confrontation and have been managed safely - we expect that to continue. Customers pay for our service on a subscription basis. Our approach is game changing, and our ambitions are huge.

We are looking to take on a Recovery Agents on a part time basis and "on demand" basis with potential for full time. It is a fulfilling role with significant potential to progress as the business grows.

If you're currently working in security or similar but are unfulfilled or feel you have more to offer - this role could be for you. We are particularly interested in Uber drivers with security experience.

The role:

This is a unique role with huge potential for the right candidate.

Locate and recover stolen bikes using our GPS and beacon scanners Communicate with our operations who support with recovery Utilise your skillset in apply appropriate judgement "on the ground" Follow our safety protocols and guidelines Occasional liaison with police where necessary

Skills / Experience:

Background in private security, military, police or similar skill set Pragmatic and understand that working with a young business is not the same as a large corporation Practical problem solver - you find your way around hurdles without fuss Flexible working hours Professional attitude Can access central Edinburgh quickly Driving license + ideally have access to car or van

Nice to have:

Interest in bikes or ebikes Handy with mechanical things

Pay:

We pay on an hourly basis, with significant additional "bonus for success". This typically equates to about 15-20 per hour, but many of our agents earn more.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 15 per week
