Duties

Lead guided tours for groups of visitors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the visit Share detailed information about the site's history, architecture, and significance in an engaging manner Answer questions from guests, providing additional insights as needed Maintain the safety and comfort of all visitors during the tour Manage booking schedules and coordinate group arrivals to ensure smooth operations Assist with setting up tour equipment or displays as required Provide excellent customer service by addressing visitor needs and feedback professionally Promote additional services or merchandise where appropriate

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences Strong organisational skills to manage tour schedules and group logistics effectively A genuine interest in history, culture, or local attractions is highly desirable Previous experience in guiding, hospitality, or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required for special events or peak seasons A friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to guided tours
