About your new role





PLEASE NOTE: This role is not on the list of occupations eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route



Our Marketing team is made up of many teams that work together to support Weightmans' marketing processes. The teams include: business development; communications; CRM; events; profile raising; and projects.



Provide administration support to team members as required to assist with the implementation of the marketing plan.


Main purpose of the role





Work with the Bids Team to support, develop and manage the firm's bid process to deliver high quality documents and presentations.



Provide tender tracking, research and production of reports to support best practice.



Support the Bids Team and Partners across the firm to contribute to the overall financial objectives of the firm.


Key responsibilities





Being responsible for management of the bid's mailbox, in line with the process set out in the SOP, for example, downloading tender communications including documents and clarification responses. Issuing these to all relevant parties.


Administering bid portals and tracking of opportunities in InterAction for dashboard / reporting purposes. Supporting Bid Managers with the bids dashboard to track all bids and monitor feedback, helping Bid Managers to produce regular reports. Administering the RFPIO bid library to ensure the material is up to date and appropriately filed for ease and clarity of use. Administering MS Teams channels for usage in Bids / Tenders. Supporting corporate presentation and other pitch presentation proposals. Prepare and check information relating to regular team reports and bids area on the firm's intranet. Providing support to the partnership on mini bids and proposals. Work on an on-going basis on improving the 'look and feel' of documents such as bid templates, proposal and capability statements. General administrative duties. Assist with ad hoc business development & marketing projects that may require additional resource.

About You




You will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.

o This role would suit a recent graduate, although 1-2 years in a professional services environment would be a distinct advantage.

Candidate must be meticulous with a particular attention to detail and have the ability to work to deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills. Commercially aware and astute. Excellent IT skills (MS Office). Well developed project and time management skills plus organisational skills. Confident, assertive and resilient. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). A good understanding of marketing. Hybrid working - the role will be based in the Liverpool office with remote working from home.
