Post Title: Bid Writer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time), or part time job share by arrangement.

We are a family orientated business and school working hours will be considered.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 26,000 - 30,000 depending on experience (full time salary)

Geographical Area: Remote working

We Raise The Game are looking for an excellent communicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with non-for-profits and charities to look at potential funding opportunities and then write applications on their behalf.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:



1. To lead on bid writing and funding applications to a range of funding bodies and trusts.

2. To build strong relationships with customers.

3. Manage numerous clients and projects at the same time.

4. To consistently produce high quality funding applications and funding bids.

Liaising with: All partner organisations, WRTG consultant, Chief Operating Officer

Other: Access to transport is desirable

CORE DUTIES

Delivery Responsibilities:

Research available funds Work with partners to effectively create strong and well written funding applications which meet the standards of the organisation
Monitoring & Performance: Regular 1:1 sessions, programme meetings

Line Management: None

Skills:

? Knowledge of fundraising within a charity, CIC or non-for-profit organisation (or similar) environment, designed to meet social outcomes.

? Knowledge of key funding bodies including Reaching Communities, Comic Relief, Children in Need, Awards for All and Sport England.

? Ability to produce high quality, professionally written funding applications

? To be able to consult with customers and relevant partners to plan future funding applications.

? To manage a comprehensive workload of funding applications.

? Ability to use word, excel, google documents to a high standard.

? Ability to respond effectively and quickly to competing work priorities.
