Role & Responsibilities



Working closely with the Directors and Regional Managers, you'll play a key part in crafting winning proposals that help secure flooring and property maintenance contracts across the public sector. Lead the writing and submission of compelling, clear, concise, and high-scoring tender submissions tailored specifically to public sector opportunities. Produce high-quality, engaging, and technically sound written responses for PQQs, RFIs, ITTs, and other tender documentation. Maximise efficiency by utilising AI to support with collating information and refining responses. Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather technical input and supporting documentation and transform it into cohesive, compelling bid submissions. Ensure submissions are compliant with tender requirements and deadlines. Manage the tender pipeline, including monitoring upcoming tender opportunities and those in progress, ensuring effective prioritisation of works and timely input from internal teams to meet deadlines. Maintain and continually develop a library of standard content, case studies and bid templates - managing input from internal teams as required. Contribute to bid strategy meetings and post-bid reviews including price comparisons and incorporate lessons learned into future submissions.

Requirements



Experience in bid writing. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with capability to complete tender documents to secure new business opportunities. Experience of the FM or construction sector would be helpful. Understanding of public sector procurement processes and terminology. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Have a can-do attitude, able to work with limited supervision under pressure. Proficient IT skills including use of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Proficient using tender portals, uploading documents, maintaining company profile information. Proficient using tender opportunity filtering platforms. Professional approach, consistent with the high levels of compliance expected working with predominantly public sector customers. Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders up to senior level.
