At Anthony Collins Solicitors, our purpose is clear, to improve lives, communities, and society. As we deliver on our Strategy 2030, we're seeking a talented Bids & Proposals Manager to help drive our continued growth and success. The role is open to Birmingham and Manchester locations.



This is a pivotal role within our Marketing & Business Development team, leading the creation of compelling, client-focused proposals that win new business and strengthen our position as a leading social purpose law firm.



You'll collaborate closely with sector leads, lawyers, and senior stakeholders to shape winning strategies, manage the end-to-end bid process, and mentor a talented team to deliver consistently excellent results.



What you'll be doing:


Leading the development and delivery of high-quality bids and proposals across all our sectors. Driving bid strategy and planning - from identifying opportunities to crafting win themes and go-to-market approaches. Managing and developing a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Coordinating complex submissions, ensuring deadlines, compliance, and brand alignment are met. Maintaining and developing our library of bid content, templates, and case studies to support future success. Analysing bid performance and sharing insights that shape future opportunities and strategies. Partnering with marketing and business development colleagues to align bid activity with our firmwide growth objectives. About the candidate

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing bids or proposals in a professional services or similar environment. Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively. Excellent written communication and attention to detail, with a flair for producing persuasive and engaging content. A strategic thinker who can translate business goals into winning bid strategies. Experience leading, developing, or mentoring a team. A collaborative, proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality work that makes a difference
