About the role:



We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Billing Administrator to join our Billing Team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing authorised billing instructions from our legal teams. This includes making edits and amendments within our Finance Practice Management System (Expert) to generate accurate client bills.


About you:



We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of billing across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, coupled with expertise in rates hierarchy structures within legal practice management systems, particularly Expert.


You will have a solid grasp of client and matter data, practice management processes, and the ability to produce and interpret practice management reports relating to matter financials. Knowledge of VAT and SRA requirements, including relevant practice notes, is essential to ensure billing compliance.


You should also understand the transaction process for converting WIP into bills, as well as e-billing, including phases and tasks, and the role the billing team plays in supporting these processes.
