Are you a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional who is ready to grow into the Billing Assistant role we are looking for?
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer payments and related inquiries
Process credit card and JCC transactions accurately and issue invoices/receipts to customers
Record journal entries for payments in the accounting system and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports
Monitor daily card and bank transfer balances to ensure accuracy
Support and collaborate closely with the Senior Billing Supervisor and Billing Officers
Create invoices based on system data, operations department input, and client communication
Perform clerical and administrative duties related to billing
Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain strong customer relations
Comply with health and safety policies and act as an internal and external ambassador for the company
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is an advantage
Finance-related professional qualifications (e.g., LCCI or AAT) are desirable
Solid understanding of accounting policies, practices, and billing systems
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is ideal
Experience with computer-generated and manual invoices, credit notes, and direct debit procedures
Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with customers, agents, and internal teams
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage fluctuating workloads
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
A customer service mindset and willingness to take initiative
