Binwash UK are expanding! Based around Saffron Walden, we have been operating for 10 years across 6 districts (including Bishops Stortford, Great Bardfield, Great Dunmow, Haverhill, Saffron Walden and Royston). We need to recruit a new team member on a

permanent full-time role

to operate a company vehicle and trailer mounted machine.

Job Role:

Visiting domestic households and commercial premises to clean waste bins to our high standard.

Day to day roles also include cleaning down and light maintenance on trailer mounted machines, keeping the workplace unit tidy, and general organisation and cleanliness of the work vans, ready for each working day.

The right candidate MUST-

Be reliable; show professionalism; have an eye for detail and hard working to maintain our high standards and excellent reputation.

Have a full and clean driving licence with 5+ years' experience with ideally the ability to drive a van towing a small trailer. Training will be provided

Be able to cope with outdoor work & physical nature of the job

Work without supervision and use own initiative as well as interact positively with the general public

Be ambitious and want to help drive business expansion

There are no set hours per day, it is based on the workload and demands of the business for that week, the weather & also the biggest influence is the reliability of the refuse collections occurring without any issues. This should reduce significantly once the operative is able to work independently and becomes familiar with routes, workload and practice in the cleaning process.

Competitive salary will be paid for this type of role and clothing will be issued once the training probationary period is completed. We also have commission and bonus schemes, as well as an extended paid break in Winter.

After an initial training and shadowing period whilst familiarising routes - the aim is to then independently manage your own round across the several districts we operate in.
