Production Technicians

to help us advance gene therapy through our next-generation manufacturing service.

About the Role: Production Technician

Two available positions

You will be responsible for making sure that our production campaigns and laboratory operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for preparing solutions, maintaining stock, and performing routine laboratory operations. Ample training will be provided, and you will be supported by our highly technical team.

In particular you will:

Prepare liquid solutions that are required for our production and discovery work Perform a range of pipetting operations, to prepare materials for our manufacturing campaigns Use our in-house equipment to assist in the running of manufacturing campaigns Regularly report on what could be working more smoothly in production, and help to implement systems of improvement Help with basic lab operational tasks, including ordering and maintaining stock materials

Manufacturing has remained a critical bottleneck for gene therapies, even as the field has found success - licensed products now offer hope for previously untreatable conditions. The challenges that remain are complex: large delivery vehicles, intricate intracellular mechanisms, and demanding quality requirements slow down gene therapy throughout the development lifecycle.

We're making manufacturing much easier through novel parallelized manufacturing solutions. Today, we help leading gene therapy companies advance their pipelines more quickly. Our ultimate goal is to dramatically reduce manufacturing costs to make gene therapies more accessible to everyone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-35,560.00 per year
