We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Test Preparation Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on helping students prepare for various tests. Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on test preparation. Develop customised lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement. Stay updated on the latest test formats, content areas, and best practices in test preparation. Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies for enhancing student success.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in a test preparation context.

at A-Level biology in any major UK specification

fully comprehensive knowledge of Biology do not apply if you are not confident teaching a-level biology prior to application

access to an

iPad and Apple Pencil

for lesson delivery Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts to students. Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in different learning situations. Knowledge of special education practices is an advantage but not mandatory. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate students' schedules.
