Seeking Bitumen Sprayer Operative in the West Midlands

Spray Tanker Services Ltd, an industry leader established in 2003, is currently seeking a dedicated Bitumen Sprayer Operative to join our Wolverhampton-based team. We specialise in delivering high-quality road surfacing and spray tanker services across the region. This position offers varied shift patterns, including night and weekend work, providing flexibility and opportunities for overtime.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for operating bitumen spraying equipment to accurately apply bitumen emulsion on road surfacing projects. You will work to achieve precise application in line with project specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency. A valid UK HGV license is ESSENTIAL for this role. Full training will be provided, so while experience is preferred, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate bitumen spray machinery to carry out road surfacing tasks. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to maintain safety and performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely project completion. Monitor material usage and application rates to meet project specifications and maintain records. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills & Qualifications (Preferred, but Full Training Provided):

Prior experience in a Bitumen Sprayer Operative role or similar within the road surfacing or construction industry. Knowledge of bitumen spraying equipment, techniques, and processes. Awareness of health and safety regulations in the road surfacing industry. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Any relevant certifications or qualifications in road surfacing or construction would be beneficial.

Pay: 40,000.00-80,000.00 per year
