We now have a permanent, full-time position for a new dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team!

About the Role:

The position is for a Blacksmith, Architectural metal Worker or Fabricator for the manufacture of Staircases, Staircase Balustrades, Porches, Verandas and Canopies, Gates and Railings along with other miscellaneous items as required.

While experience is preferred, we also welcome trainees who are eager to learn and possess a strong interest in the world of blacksmithing, fabrication, and architectural metalwork.

Qualities we would look for in a successful candidate would include good organisational and problem solving skills and good time management. Perhaps most importantly, we are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, takes pride in what they do and have an eye for detail.

The ideal candidate would have experience in:-

MIG, TIG & Metal Arc Welding

And an understanding basic engineering skills

The ability to read and work from CAD drawings

Be actively able to measure, cut, drill & tap metalwork

Work to a high level of accuracy

Working safely in a workshop, engineering environment

The position will also involve:-

Some away work on site for short periods

A full UK driving license is essential

Our standard working hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday, however you may be required to work additional hours as and when needed.
