You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded blades for our metal-working customers to exact specifications, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability at every stage of the process.Alongside production duties, you will also support our
internal and external service engineers
, assisting with machinery preparation (before despatch), maintenance tasks, and on-site service work when required.
This is a practical, hands-on position that suits someone who takes pride in precision work, has strong attention to detail, and is keen to develop specialist technical skills.Full training will be provided on all equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for blade welding and production operations, including packaging and despatch
Assisting our internal and external service engineers with machinery maintenance, repairs, and servicing for customers.
Preparing tools, equipment, and materials for production and service work
Carrying out quality checks on the bandsaw blades and ensuring work meets required standards
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Working with the Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure all orders are despatched on time and to the customers expected level of service. Supporting customers with technical blade queries and assisting them with trouble-shooting potential issues
Previous experience in the metalworking industry (as an engineer, fabricator or site worker, etc)
