Main duties/Responsibilities

PRODUCTION OF BLENDED PRODUCTS

Manufacture all blended demand through the operation of the automated blends plant through DSL. To ensure all finished products are produced to a high-quality standard in-line with customer requirements and available on-time and in-full. To improve OEE performance ensuring that production targets are met or exceeded in a timely and efficient manner by all members of the team. To carry out all on-site hygiene activities to the highest standards ensuring relevant documentation is completed and adhere to government/policy standards. To ensure adequate finished product is available to fulfil daily customer requirements. Ensure UFAS and all associated legislative compliance is fulfilled. Conduct daily stock checks to ensure operations can be successfully completed and update systems accurately and within specified time requirements. Update, maintain and meet agreed KPI's. Loading of finished goods vehicles via the JCB. Unloading raw material deliveries as instructed by the Goods In function. Complete daily defect vehicle reporting. Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

LOADING AND UNLOADING

Loading and unloading of pallet deliveries. Operation of FLT. Checking of deliveries & informing RM coordinator of any deviances or issues Loading of vehicles via JCB Operate all plant and equipment in a safe manner at all times reporting any defects as soon as known.

SAFE OPERATION OF THE RAW MATERIAL SHUNTING FUNCTION

To move product between site locations as and when instructed on the Wardle shunt vehicle. To support finished goods out loading as and when required. Complete daily defect vehicle reporting. To operate all plant and equipment in a safe manner at all times reporting any defects as soon as they are known.

Other responsibilities

On an ad hoc basis be prepared to support any other site production functions as and when required. Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety protocols and all production and Health and Safety procedures are followed. Consistently communicate deviances from customer requirements and implement corrective actions to maximise customer satisfaction. Report all accidents, incidents and encounters outside standard work practices to relevant personnel. Identify and evaluate potential cost saving projects, playing an active part from project conception to completion. To assist and support management in driving a lean manufacturing culture.

Qualifications / training

JCB & FLT - refresher required every 3 years MEWP - refresher required every 5 years UFAS - overview, including policies & procedures every 3 years * Environment, COSHH, GDPR, WAH, Slips trips & falls, Manual handling, Spill prevention, DSEAR, Ladders, Electrical safety
