Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Block Paver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry and a strong understanding of construction practices. As a Block Paver, you will be responsible for laying blocks, bricks, and other materials to create durable and aesthetically pleasing surfaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Duties

Lay blocks and bricks according to specifications and design plans. Use hand tools and power tools to cut and shape materials as needed. Ensure proper alignment and level of blocks during installation. Perform masonry work including the mixing of mortar and concrete. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and welders to complete projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry or related fields such as carpentry or bricklaying is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings. Strong physical stamina with the capability to lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg). Knowledge of roofing techniques is an advantage but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
