The Role

Working for a leading manufacturer in the plastics industry, you will be setting the blow moulding machinery onsite.

Blow Moulding Setter

Main Responsibilities

• Work in accordance to safe working practices at all times, applying the principles of a zero-accident mentality.
• Completion of daily safety checks; Maintenance of a safe, clean, and tidy work area in cooperation with the other shift workers.
• Optimise process setting in line with company KPIs.
• Continuous improvements with the aim achieving targeted cycle times and specified quality as quickly as possible.
• Maximise efficiency through set-up of ancillary equipment, including conveyors,
• Achieve best possible processing performance.
• Collaborate with Team members and Quality colleagues to achieve customer quality standards.
• Liaise with Production team over process actions taken and advise on diagnostic signs and prevention.

Blow Moulding Setter

The Candidate * Health and Safety awareness; Ability to assess risk and work safely.

• Plastics industry experience essential; blow moulding experience desirable.
• A dynamic, proactive individual who possesses strong intellect, good logical fault-finding analysis capabilities.
• Positive attitude and work ethic, with the ability to work in a team or independently.
• Excellent attention to detail is a must.
• Proactive and dynamic approach to health, safety and environmental situations.
• Proactive and positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.
