We are looking for a Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) Applications Specialist to join our team in Chineham, Basingstoke. As the Blue Yonder WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) Application Specialist, you will be accountable for completing the analysis of business requirements through process mapping and translating these into a detailed configuration of strategic products.
The successful candidate will also provide expert support in terms of technical changes to business solutions, to achieve the right outcomes for the business.
The role holder will carry out standard configuration requests and support with any new go-live projects. They will also be responsible for ensuring good maintenance of system templates to help streamline future on boarding projects.

Role details:
Salary: Circa 60,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Nationwide with some travel and a minimum of one day per week in Chineham, Basingstoke, RG24 8UB
What you'll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
Utilise SQL language skills for data analysis, extraction and manipulation within the WMS environment in order to deliver the most appropriate solution
Develop and optimise SQL queries to enhance and support reporting requirements and performance
Ensure seamless communication and data exchange between WMS and integration systems in order to ensure solutions are robust and supportable
Play a key role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management, collaborating with stakeholders to validate system changes
Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of WMS configurations
Lead WMS implementation projects, ensuring a smooth transition from planning to execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction
Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Document and analyse business requirements, translating them into actionable WMS configurations
Maintain comprehensive documentation including operation and system process maps to facilitate future system enhancements and modifications
Implement robust change management processes to assess, approve and deploy modifications to the WMS
Manage patch releases program across Technology estate
Minimise disruption to operations during system changes
Actively participate in incident management to support resolution and root cause analyses
Proactively managed WMS CI and cost reduction activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with various departments to align IT WMS strategies with overall business objectives
Develop and conduct training programs for super users, ensuring a proficient and knowledgeable user base
Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the organisation
Who you are:
Your skills and experience will include:
5 years plus experience in implementing Blue Yonder Solutions
Blue Yonder WMS configuration knowledge
Exposure to Supply Chain solution configuration
Experience of the logistics / supply chain sector (food retail sector experience desirable)
Significant experience in a related role with a track record of managing complex operational implementations
Conceptual thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and influencing skills with stakeholders across all organisational levels
Knowledge of integration, with the ability to read and interpret MSD (Mapping Specification Document)
Desirable:
Capability to write I-Reports within BY
Experience in supporting Technology and the Business with BY Upgrades
Experience and / or exposure to other BY products such as WLM and Yard Management
Intermediate SQL proficiency, Prince 2, change management qualification
ITIL qualification
Continuous improvement experience
