As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects by providing technical expertise, writing and deploying control software, onsite commissioning while managing engineers to the completion of the project and upholding high-level communication with clients. Your strong knowledge of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills will be essential in delivering high-quality projects within designated timelines.
Responsibilities:
Successful delivery of all tasks, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and at the margin approved at the point of sale
Write software for control systems & internal processes
Create graphics & submit to the client with amendments until approved
To receive completed draft panel drawings from the manufacturer, check & adjust/approve
Manage the approval process of technical drawings until completion within the agreed project timeline
Oversee onsite installation & provide ongoing support to the subcontractor installation team
Check stock is delivered to the site correctly
Create method statements & risk assessments reflecting each project phase throughout & ensure these are followed by the engineers
Update MS&RA's when required to reflect the current stage of the project, issue to client, and provide a copy to the project manager
Ensure all project variations are accurately captured and raised to the clients for approval
Working with finance to ensure payments are made by the client within the terms and conditions of the contract
Forecast labor requirements to help overall staff planning
Ensure all reports are submitted to clients within agreed company performance targets
Take the lead and own customer escalation issues through to resolution
Recognise the importance of procedures and processes and adhere to these to deliver a high standard of customer service
Frequently interface and communicate with customers to assist with account development
Liaise with internal colleagues to co-ordinate end-to-end delivery of customer service
Work confidently within a pressurised environment, multi-tasking between the different operational disciplines
Knowledge of energy management initiatives
Be aware of and comply with NRise Ltd's upcoming ISO quality management system including all applicable quality procedures. Further details and training will be provided
Assist with the design and implementation of complex integration strategies across multiple protocols including but not limited to BACnet, MODBUS, MBUS, Dali 1 & 2, MQTT, JSON and Node JS.
Any other duties deemed business necessary when instructed by your line manager
